Hello and welcome!
My name is Jane Ivko, and I am a licensed esthetician and electrologist based in Boca Raton, Florida.
I have dedicated more than 16 years to the beauty and wellness industry—including 13 years in Canada and additional professional experience in Israel. My journey began with a strong medical foundation: I hold a degree in Cardio-Technology from Israel, which allows me to approach skincare with scientific precision and a holistic understanding of health.
Today, I bring together medical knowledge and modern esthetics to deliver treatments that are not only effective but also safe. In the U.S., I am licensed as both an esthetician and electrologist, ensuring the highest standard of care for every client.
My expertise includes:

What kind of laser treatments do you offer?
At Astra Beauty Lounge we offer a wide variety of laser treatments such as hair removal, blood vessel removal, pigmentation removal and facial rejuvenation treatment.
What kind of laser do you use? Does it hurt?
At Astra Beauty Lounge we use Alexandrite Nd Yag laser. That allows us to work with different skin complexions. It does not hurt but sometimes it might feel uncomfortable.
How should I prepare for my laser appointment?
Try to avoid sun 3-4 weeks prior to the appointment. For the body laser avoid waxing, threading and hair plugging. Shave one day prior to the appointment or even the same day. For facial laser procedure It's better to not shave but carefully trim your hair so we can see better where the coarse hair is located.
What should I do or don't do between laser treatments?
Right after a laser session and for the next 2-3 days do not stay out in the sun, use sauna, swim in a pool. Don't wax your hair and between laser hair removal treatments. You can shave. After 2-3 sessions you even won't need to shave.
